From January 20–22, 2025, the WISE-Futures technicians team participated in a comprehensive three-day training program on Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment and purification. The training, held at the Mini Factory at NM-AIST, covered both theoretical and practical aspects and was facilitated by experts from Davis and Shirtliff, a leading company in water and energy solutions.

The program provided an in-depth understanding of the principles and operation of RO systems, including membrane technology, system design, and maintenance. Participants engaged in hands-on practical sessions to enhance their technical skills in troubleshooting and optimizing RO water purification systems.
Furthermore, the skills and expertise gained will contribute to the sustainability of the WISE-Futures Centre through income generated by selling clean and safe water to communities. This initiative supports the organization’s commitment to addressing water quality challenges while ensuring the long-term financial stability of the Centre.
