The African Centre for Water Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy Futures (WISE-Futures), lead by Centre Leader  Dr. Hans Komakech in collaboration with Pastoralist Women Council (PWC) conducted a Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) outreach activity at Emanyata Secondary school Loliondo, Ngorongoro District in Arusha Region whereby they donated a Complete Solar to support students in their learning process.<\/p>\n

Dr. Komakech narrated that it\u2019s the culture of WISE-Futures Centre to strengthening relationships with the community through Corporate Social Responsibility in various fields especially in academics as the way to encourage students to study harder to achieve their goals.<\/p>\n

WISE-Futures Deputy Centre Leader, Dr. Yusufu Abeid Chande Jande had the opportunity to speak with students regarding  <\/span>STEM subjects and brief them with a number of opportunities they can get in science subjects, by encouraging girls to opt for science subjects to get full scholarships for further learning.<\/p>\n

On the other hand the Headmaster of  <\/span>Emanyata  <\/span>Secondary School, Mr. Paulo Muhina thanked the WISE-Futures team for visiting the school which is located in a pastoralist society to conduct Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activity.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank our partners NM-AIST, WISE-Futures for visiting the Emanyata School and bring the solar that will help our girls during their study at night,\u201d said Koya Timan (PWC board member).<\/p>\n

The outreach program was a two-day activity that started on 15th<\/sup> to 16th<\/sup> September 2021in Emanyata Secondary School on the Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).<\/p>\n
