{"id":5802,"date":"2021-07-12T09:10:13","date_gmt":"2021-07-12T09:10:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/?p=5802"},"modified":"2021-10-05T08:28:40","modified_gmt":"2021-10-05T08:28:40","slug":"wise-futures-supported-workshop-for-managment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/?p=5802","title":{"rendered":"WISE-Futures supported Workshop for managment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The African Centre for&nbsp; Water Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy Futures (WISE-Futures)&nbsp; supported a Workshop On Improving Customer Care and Nurturing Entrepreneurial Mindset from 25<sup>th<\/sup> -26<sup>th<\/sup> May 2021 at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST).<\/p>\n<p>During the opening ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of the NM-AIST, Prof. Emmanuel Luoga highlighted that, a number of initiatives towards revenue generation for sustainability has been made, these include strengthening of the Resources Mobilization and Investment (ReMoI) unit and its committees, the establishment of Investment Company and many others. In order to sustain such developments, change of mind-set of our workforce is vital, that is why we decided to have this workshop primarily for by deans of schools, heads of departments and units.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5821\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/VC-Speak--300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/VC-Speak--300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/VC-Speak--768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/VC-Speak--1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.wisefutures.ac.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/VC-Speak--272x182.jpg 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The overall objective of the training was to open the managers\u2019 minds and hence grab the available opportunities for generating income while providing satisfactory services to clients.<\/p>\n<p>Participants got an opportunity to various skills and strategies for improving services and output including Kaizen, ISO, customer care and ethics in the working environment.
